Accompanied by musical narration, with the singer commenting on the action through his songs, this creative film interweaves the hopes and dreams of three Egyptians in their late twenties who face challenges about their future careers and relationships. We see the moral struggles of a newly-wed personal trainer whose desire to have his own gym is challenged by his other desire to please his wife, a romantic Christian woman who is in love with a Muslim man, and a son who has dreams of a musical career against his father’s will. Can they find true happiness without denying the people they love? This award-winning film is Egypt’s 2021 Academy Awards entry for Best International Feature Film.
