Watch movie: Lusala

Lusala, a young man adopted by a Nairobi family a decade ago, is encouraged to leave the nest and begin a life of his own. He eagerly makes the most of his new life, until the demons from his past return, and he has to grapple with them on his own. Lusala is a rare and sensitive portrayal of a person living with mental illness, so often a taboo subject in African cultures as well as elsewhere in the world.
